Location Scout App - Part 1

I am working on filming two passion projects this month, and I was just out on a location scout.
There are two main things I always bring.
This app lets you see the path of the sun throughout the day. It helps you visualize when the best time for lighting would be, especially for outdoor locations.
Part of the job as a DP is keeping the set moving as efficiently as possible without sacrificing too much quality. It's rare to get a 100% satisfying shot, but sometimes you need to go with the 85% shot to keep crossing things off the list.
During prep, being able to plan what time of day to shoot is key to getting the best results with less effort. Sunseeker is your friend.

2. Measuring tape
Very basic, but do not forget this. The more accurate information you can give the crew, the better they can prep. Window sizes, room dimensions — all of it helps figure out how much gear you need and how to problem-solve before you even get to set.

What is your must bring items for a location scout?
